he general director of Sports of the CARM, Alonso Gómez López, and the mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez Fernández, today presented the Regional Final Tennis Table School Sports Age held in Calasparra next Saturday, February 24 .
Alonso Gómez explained that there will be about 150 participants from 30 teams from the Benjamin to Juvenile category.
The young athletes participating in this final have had to overcome two phases and the winners will have a direct pass to the Championship of Spain, which will be held soon in Murcia.
The mayor of Calasparra thanked the General Directorate of Physical Activity and Sports of the Regional Government and its general director for the election of Calasparra for this important sporting event held in the Municipal Sports Pavilion from 09:30 hours.
"We are very happy to be able to collaborate, especially when it comes to promoting sports among the youngest," said the mayor.
