This past weekend, 21, 22 and 23 October, the Committee Twinning Calasparra, headed by the Mayor of Calasparra, Jesus Navarro and President of Twinning Committee, Maria del Pilar Garcia Vergara, traveling Donzdorf (Germany) .
The purpose of the visit has been formalized by signing a written document, the twinning of these two associations, Europabaum and Calasparra Twinning Committee.
A document that reflects the commitment of both entities to cooperate in the cultural, social and economic as well as to promote contact between schools, local associations, youth groups and adults.
Sponsors of this partnership have been members of the Twinning Committee Riorges (Calasparra twinned with the French people for ten years)
Among the activities to be conducted, highlighting the welcome reception at the City of Donzdorf, the city tour, a visit to a brewery, the Institute of the locality as well as various cultural events like the concert held by the Coral Liederkranz EV
Finally, highlight the great success of the German people and good understanding between the people of Donzdorf and Calasparra.
On the other hand, the Twinning Committee has announced that Calasparra have a blog open to participation by all.
