The soccer player, María Hernández Martínez, has received the support and affection of her team, coaches and fans, during the last game of the season for the children held this Saturday at the Municipal de la Caverina.
The City Council, through the mayor of Sports, Jordi Arce, gave the keeper of the Calasparrian team a plaque in recognition of the work done during these years, being the only female footballer.
If nothing remedies it, the next season Maria will not be able to continue playing with her team, according to the rules of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, which does not allow mixed teams beyond the Children's category, and since there is no cadet team feminine in Calasparra.
The mayor of Sports, explained that the City Council will do everything possible so that Maria can continue playing in Calasparra with his team.
