The Bullfight Club of Calasparra has the honor of announcing that this year 2018 will be Don Máximo Pérez Estévez who will announce the XXIX Bullfighting Fair of Rice.
A native of Colmenar Viejo (Madrid), a town with a great bullfighting tradition and above all a cattle rancher, Maxi Pérez, 43, owes his love of bulls to his parents, who led the bulls a few months after they were born.
They are amateurs since they were young and subscribers to line 7 of Madrid for more than 40 years.
His father is president of the Peña Taurina "El Rescoldo" of Colmenar Viejo, which is more than 50 years old.
Our town crier began to collaborate as a bullfighting journalist in different media, such as the magazine 6 Toros 6 or the Clarín program of Radio Nacional de España.
His first TV incursion was in the TVE program that we bet, in 1996, where he was the winner of a bet consisting of recognizing bulls, with the single image for a few seconds of a bull appearing through the door of toriles.
In 2013 he began to collaborate in the Canal Toros of Movistar Plus in the program 68 PASOS with a section called La Maxipedia, consisting of bringing back memories or curiosities that surprised the matador invited each week.
The following year, San Isidro of 2014, joined the team of the broadcasts, of which he is already part, with a habitual character, in all the televised corridas, contributing data and curiosities related to each celebration, besides his vision from the side of the amateur.
It is characterized by its good memory, its house is an authentic arsenal of bullfighting archives, such as posters, magazines, photographs, press clippings, etc., it is all a bullfighting documentarian and a luxury for our bullfighting club to count on him as a preacher of the Taurina Rice Fair.
We take this opportunity to encourage the fans to attend the bullfight that on the occasion of San Abdón and San Senén Day will take place in Calasparra next July 30.

The bulls reviewed are from Ventura for rejones and Torrehandilla and Torreherberos for the fight on foot.
We also remind you that at the end of the celebration we will have featured protagonists in the gathering that will take place at the Casa de la Cultura.
