Last Sunday, in the Municipal Auditorium, the Priest Fernando Gutiérrez Reche announced and proclaimed the Holy Week in 2019 in an unforgettable proclamation under the watchful eye of the civil authorities, with the presence of the mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez Fernández, and ecclesiastics of the municipality, the parish priest José Manuel Martínez Rosique, members of the Cabildo, brothers, friends and family of the town crier.

In addition to the proclamation, the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías of Holy Week delivered the "Cofrade del Año" recognition to Mr. Gabino Moya Fructuoso.

The fantastic performance of a Calasparreños Group of Musicians accompanied the preacher and the performance of Noelia García Berbell and Irene Cantó Cuadrado closed the event, which was presented by Juan Merino.
