The Youth Orchestra of the Northwest of the Region of Murcia participates from July 31 to August 11 at the Eurochestries Festival that will take place in France (Charente Maritime region).
The festival brings together symphonic orchestras, strings, choirs or chamber ensembles of young people, from 15 to 25 years old, and is an excellent opportunity for cultural and social enrichment for these young people, giving them at the same time the opportunity to value their orchestra and their country.
During the festival, the musicians of the participating orchestras give concerts with their own program, but they also work together with the other nationalities to prepare the closing concert.
The international federation coordinates all the Eurochestries festivals, animates and develops the network composed of orchestras, musicians, composers, universities, music schools, and associations from 37 countries.
The JONOMUR began last Saturday in Calasparra with pre-festival tests and the performances it will offer in San Pedro del Pinatar (July 26), Moratalla (July 27) and Calasparra in the near future.
The essays move to Caravaca starting on Thursday.
Some 55 young people from across the Region of Murcia are currently the JONOMUR, who runs the calasparreño Juan Jesús López Sandoval.
