Students of the Casa Europa Association of Cehegín, Bullas and Calasparra win the regional prize in the 'CortODS' contest of the UMU.
Selected among the 92 short films presented in this edition, the short film There is not Planet B, reflects the consequences of the climatic emergency that our planet is going through and shows its effects, such as water scarcity and excessive use of plastics.
On behalf of the City Council of Calasparra Juan José López, Councilor for Youth, who collected the award.
The University of Murcia (UMU), in collaboration with the NGO Coordinator of the Region of Murcia, presented last Thursday night the prizes of the National Short Competition on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), called 'CortODS' .
The national prize goes to a documentary that portrays the migration route of the Eastern Mediterranean, made by photojournalists Santiago Palacios and Mikel Conate
The theme selected for the Short Film Contest has been «The Objectives for Sustainable Development (SDG) and the 2030 Agenda».
The short films correspond to the theme of the 2030 Agenda in general terms, or deepen the Sustainable Development Goals in their content according to their orientation with people, the planet, prosperity, peace and alliances.
The shorts have valued attitudes, initiatives and actions both individual and collective, which have contributed decisively to the fulfillment of the Agenda or of said Objectives, in and from any corner of the planet.
