This weekend the Councilor for Sports of the City of Calasparra, Juan Bernal, presented one of the prizes at the Triathlon Gala of the Region of Murcia in which more than 400 people participated, and was held in Caravaca de la Cruz.

This celebration rewards all the triathletes of the Region that have won a trophy during the 2019 season. The winners with the male and female 'Triathlete of the Year' were Sergio Baxter, from the Triathlon Murcia Unidata Club, and Laura Durán, from the Saltoki-Diquesí Triathlon- trikideak

In addition, the president of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, José Hidalgo, received the honorable mention.
