Last Thursday, the Councilor for Social Policy, Antonio Merino, participated in a new meeting of the permanent working table for the elaboration of the Regional Plan of Addiction Prevention of the Commonwealth of Social Services of the Northwest.
During the development of the meeting, the need to finalize the drafting of this Regional Plan, whose preparation began months ago, and which aims to curb the progress of drug use among the youngest in our municipality, was combined, combining all the actions that at the regional level that are carried out in the matter of prevention of additions.
The document will reflect the priorities of action for the next four years in the area of ​​addictions.
In this meeting, the work of the Director of this Commonwealth, María José Rosa, and her involvement in this type of Plans that make a region and ensure the health of our youngest were recognized.
