During the extraordinary plenary held last night, there were two points of the day that followed.
The first was the inauguration of the Councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group Maria Dolores Valverde Villena.
And secondly he realized the resignation of José Vélez Fernández to his position as councilman and Mayor President of this City Council.
The so far Mayor of the municipality leaves his position to become Delegate of the Government in the Region of Murcia.
Pepe Vélez delivered an emotional farewell address in which he recalled all the companions who have accompanied him, during these more than twenty years of service to the town of Calasparra, he also mentioned and thanked his relatives, friends, and in general to all the neighbors of our town who have supported and trusted him throughout this journey.
