The boys and girls of Calasparra that make up the Local Council for Adolescence met again last Friday afternoon, at the meeting some of the new members of the council who will attend this year 5 of primary in the schools of our town were presented .
During this time and due to the health situation, the meetings have taken place electronically.This is a specific space for active child participation within the framework of local government, it is a channel for participation and representation of all children within our municipality.
In this space, young people make proposals and convey their opinions, needs and concerns to the municipal corporation.
The meeting was also attended by the councilor for education, Cristina Ruiz, who listened and spoke with the young people.
In this first meeting, the directors, very excited to return to the activity, contributed various ideas especially related to environmental awareness, sports and health.The Calasparra City Council, aware of the participatory development of the local child population, wants to facilitate shared decision-making at all times: that child and adolescent counselors collaborate closely with adults in the activities that most affect and interest them.
