The members of the Council for Childhood and Adolescence of Calasparra have made an adaptation of “Contagion” in Spanish, on the occasion of Children's Day that we celebrate on November 20.The young members of the Council for Childhood and Adolescence made the recordings and lent their voice so that the boys and girls of Calasparra, and other municipalities can listen and enjoy this endearing story. Literature and performing arts came together to launch 'Contaxio', a didactic and emotional story aimed at children and adolescents, which will also delight adults.
Promoted by UNICEF and the actress and presenter Lucía Regueiro, a friend of UNICEF Galicia Committee, 'Contaxio' is a collaborative story created by María Solar, Ledicia Costas and Fran Alonso, which begins with an elegant and subtle illustration by the painter Leandro Lamas.'Contagion' is a journey through the dictionary in which we discover how the word "contagion" feels and we learn its relationship with other words such as "fear", "injustice" or "poverty", but also the opportunities that will provide " vaccine ”,“ medicine ”or“ research ”.This story pretends to be a grain of sand to promote the right to education of childhood and adolescence; a story that talks about the present, about the implications of the coronavirus, a story for history.
Because, although schools have closed, education has not stopped.
