The ethnological exhibition "Our roots, our culture," organized by the Rondalla de Calasparra, in collaboration with the city, was inaugurated last Friday at the Casa de la Calle Mayor.
The exhibition will be open until Saturday, the hours of 18'00 to 20'00 hours, gathers pieces of great sentimental value to their owners who have collaborated exposing them to the public.
Costumes, embroidery, earthenware, cooking utensils, garden implements and decorative objects, among others, offer visitors a walk through time and past Calasparra, some dating back more than 100 years old.
During the inauguration, both the mayor of the municipality Jose Velez, as the mayor of Culture, Teresa Garcia, said they were very proud of the Rondalla de Calasparra and work to keep our traditions alive.
From the Rondalla de Calasparra, Fina April, coordinator of regional dance workshop, explained that it has been a very rewarding job to rescue the exhibits and expected to be liked by the public.
The finishing touch to put the opening performance of the Rondalla and his dancers.
