Some 20 secondary students from the Rechberg-Gymnasium institute in the German municipality of Donzdorf have been in Calasparra since last Saturday, invited by the IES Emilio Pérez Piñero de Calasparra.
The students, aged between 16 and 17 years, accompanied by professors Stefan and Sarah, have been received on Monday at City Hall by the mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez Fernández, the mayor of Culture and Education, Teresa García, the Councilor for Youth, Antonio José Merino, and the president of the Twinning Committee of Calasparra, Esperanza Marín.
The mayor has wished a happy stay to the young people of the town twinned with Calasparra and has indicated that with this new exchange the bonds of friendship are even closer and the commitment to achieve a united and tolerant Europe is impelled.
It is the fourth student exchange that takes place between these two secondary schools.
