The Government of Spain Calasparra invests more than 2.9 billion euros through State Funds, 2009 and 2010
The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, and the mayor of Calasparra, Jesus Navarro, inaugurated this morning the redevelopment of the Social and Cultural Center on Aging, funded entirely by the Government of Spain through the State Fund 2010, involves an investment of more than 63,000 euros.
Tovar Gonzalez stressed that thanks to the Zapatero government, through the City Council 2009-2010 State Fund is investing in Calasparra over 2.9 million euros for the realization of important projects including works to achieve greater energy efficiency Residential Polygon Textiles, which seeks energy savings and a more sustainable development.
To this are added, projects valorisation of cultural heritage and the restoration of the old Chapel of San Juan de Valentín, or the promotion of cultural spaces adaptation socio-cultural Center, or the adequacy of municipal buildings Barn Homes and Popular University, to improve conditions of schools.
Also last year took place under the same funding for Plan E the reform of the House of Youth, which represents a major project to boost leisure and cultural activities for youth conditioning Public Education Centers and Primary, enhancing the infrastructure of schools, as well as the construction of 3-family dwellings for tourist accommodation, which will give an important boost to the tourist promotion of the municipality, among other projects.
In total, 29 projects carried out works, and are developing 2 of social spending have enabled the creation of 277 jobs.
In particular, social projects are intended to finance the home help service and personal costs of public schools (maintenance, etc.).
Finally, Gonzalez Tovar said that "Calasparra received from the Government of Spain's largest investment in this area for any government in just two years and makes clear the municipality of President Zapatero will."
