Calasparra has participated in activities organized by the Rock San Sebastian San Sebastian de los Reyes, which was held on 21 and 22 January its X Days enhancement of the closures.

Jesus Navarro traveled to Madrid town of Celebration City Council accompanied by the mayor and Tourism to give a talk on the history and tradition of the running of Calasparra to an auditorium full of fans.

The mayor gave the rest of the speakers with a sack of rice and a handkerchief from the cages of Calasparra.
