Calasparra City Council has signed a collaboration agreement with Galindo Foundation worth $ 1,000 for scholarships for musical training.
The agreement will also conduct an extensive program of musical performances such as concerts and recitals in the town, says the mayor of the municipality, Jesus Navarro, who has advanced that the City create a specific budget, through the council of Culture, for the Foundation.
For its part, the founder and president of that entity, Germain Galindo, has announced that May 1 will the first call.
This year will be awarded a scholarship of 12,000 euros for students in higher grade and six assists, worth 300 euros each to local students wishing to study at the conservatory.
Galindo also has advanced to the next June 10 will take place an official ceremony to present the Foundation and scholarships for the current call.
The new foundation, based in Calasparra, aims to support education and musical training through the award of fellowships, distributing music and the organization of events dedicated to her.
