The Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) has recently presented the portal Foods from Spain in the framework of the International Gourmet Club, which was held from 11 to 14 April in Madrid's IFEMA fairgrounds.
The website aims to promote Spanish food abroad, a task that the ICEX has been developing for decades.
Foods from Spain gives information to a wide range of overseas professionals: importers, chefs, distributors, cooking schools, the media sector and all lovers of Spanish cuisine.
No doubt this is the site Spanish culinary products in the network's most ambitious and he could not miss the world's most famous rice.
More than 150 products DO
The centerpiece of the site are products and recipes.
To launch the portal has been chosen to present, in detail, more than 150 food products with designation of origin which are in our country, including Calasparra rice, but soon will be increased this presentation with that of other food products that make up the export basket.
The portal was launched by the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Trade Miguel Sebastian, on 23 March in New York.
