The local mayor, Jesus Navarro, together with other members of the Municipal Corporation as the Councillor for Education and Tourism, Teresa Salinas and Maria Dolores Gomariz, respectively, met today with the 36 young people are these days in Calasparra to attend next week at the World Youth Day held in Madrid.
The 36 young people from France and the Dominican Republic, have been welcomed by families in the municipality through the Parish of Calasparra and next Sunday will go to Madrid to attend the event.
The local City Council and the Stewardship Foundation Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope, represented by its president, have given many memories of these young people today have devoted the day to know the most emblematic places of the municipality.
The reception also helped the pastor of Calasparra, Julian Marin Torrecilla and local volunteer group that serves these days.
