The Culture House on Friday welcomed a simple but sincere tribute to Federico García Lorca.
In the 75 th anniversary of his death, the Book Club and the Thalia theater workshop organized an event focused on reading the verses of the poet murdered in 1936.
This time, his work came alive lyrical and dramatic in the voice of local residents.
Stressed, and was particularly striking, the participation of people of all ages, being smaller than 5 and the oldest 90 years.
"Sleepwalking Ballad", "are blacks in Cuba", "true", "shed blood" or "soul away," with which put an end to the readings, were some of the poems recited on Friday the 75th anniversary of the death of the poet from Granada.
The event ended at the war memorial in the Plaza de la Constitution, which laid a bouquet made of olive branches.
