Yesterday, with the presence of the local mayor and councilor of NGOs, along with representatives from Red Cross, as the coordinator of International Cooperation in Murcia, Juan Antonio Balsalobre, was published the number that have donated calasparreños solidarity with Haiti, mainly through the radiothon that took place through Radio City Calasparra.
Paco Morcillo, local Red Cross president, announced the donation amount, a total of 10,500 euros collected mainly through the money boxes installed in schools, the two virtual markets, and especially through the Municipal Radio radiothon Calasparra.
Jesus Navarro, who began by thanking everyone who made this important donation, said the rapid response has been the initiative of the City.

The mayor also noted that the City would enough to raise the figure to ensure that there was a euro per inhabitant in the municipality.
