Poor weather forecasts have been postponed during the week the school carnival parade through Saturday, weather permitting.
The Department of Education of the City Council today met with directors of public schools in Calasparra to try to find a solution to successfully conclude this long-awaited and hard parade, in which so much hope is placed by the school and their parents.
The meeting finally agreed that the show go on Saturday 20 February.
The parade will start at Plaza de la Corredera at 17.00 hours, where all schools will be cited, and later take the parade down the Gran Via, to the Film Rosales, which has prepared a feast with music, no shortage of entertainment and where the typical fritillas with chocolate.
Not being the school day, both centers, including the City Council have requested the cooperation of parents for the better development of the parade, one of the most anticipated moments of the Carnival of Calasparra.
The Councillor for Education, Maria Dolores Gomariz noted that, coinciding with the "Night of piñata" in Calasparra, hopes that there is more carnival atmosphere as the holiday, and for the elderly, will continue until early Sunday.
And is that by Saturday the City Council has again organized the costume contest.
La Rondalla Club of the Third Age will make its parade starting at 11.00 pm, while the animation team will start their show from the middle of the night 12'00.
For the contest invites all who wish to participate in focus to 1'00 am in the Log, for registration, after which, accompanied by the entertainment group, will go to the entertainment area where the 2'00 am Prizes will be awarded.

1 and 2, both individual and groups.
