Ecotourism works trail, which began two weeks ago, will provide a road parallel to the existing road in the direction of Villa Vieja, which will be used exclusively for pedestrians and bicyclists, rest areas and recreation on the banks of the River Segura.
The bike will have an approximate distance of 5 kms from one of the most beautiful areas of the municipality, as it passes near the site of Villa Vieja, the river Segura, in the paddy fields to the pier area with canoeing school , and ends at the sanctuary, and linking it to the municipality, as some, in particular from the Ermita de los Santos, home to San Abdon and Saint Sennen, together with the Virgen de la Esperanza, boast the patronage of the Town .
The bike path will be completed by April, as confirmed by the City Council and is part of the proceedings of the Tourist Consortium Almadenes with an investment of just over 160,000 euros.
